Taking action to combat London’s traffic

Five day free trial for new customers and commuters can save over £1,000 per year.

After providing coach services into Westminster for over 30 years, The Kings Ferry have taken the tough decision to no longer serve the west of London with their PM commuter services. The result is improved journey times and a more reliable service for their customers.

With an ever-increasing number of demonstrations outside the Houses of Parliament, it is becoming increasingly difficult for road users to navigate the tricky Parliament Square area. Demonstrations often happen with little or no warning and cause havoc for London commuters trying to get home during the peak rush hour.

Moving services to the less congested start point of Blackfriars, The Kings Ferry have been able to provide their customers with more reliable journeys and can now boast that, in June 2019, 97% of their services arrive on time into Canary Wharf in the morning and 99% depart on time from Canary Wharf in the afternoon.

This isn’t the only change to The Kings Ferry commuter service, they have recently dropped the price of their online daily single and return journeys to £12 and £25 respectively so now passengers can make even bigger savings versus the train. In addition to their five day free trial for new customers, commuters opting to travel into London by coach can save over £1,000 per year.

The Kings Ferry commuter service covers hundreds of pick up points across Medway, Swale, Maidstone and Gravesham including Park and Ride stops, so there is sure to be one near you. The service has eight convenient drop off points in London from Canary Wharf right the way through to Blackfriars.

Travelling into London with The Kings Ferry couldn’t be easier or more stress free. With guaranteed seats, fully air conditioned vehicles, free onboard Wi-Fi and flexible ticket options, you can sit back and relax in comfort onboard their luxury coaches.
