Business communications specialist David Taylor from WSX Enterprise, a firm that has been contracted by SELEP to deliver the grants, will brief on the ‘Adapting with Digital’ programme, and explain how businesses can apply for the grants.
To be eligible for the grants, of between £500 and £2,000, applicants must complete three hours of support from either the ‘Adapting with Digital’ or ‘Starting & Succeeding in Business’ programme and book a 1-2-1 support session. Businesses will also need to explain how the grant will be a solution to the impact of Covid-19 on their business.
David said: “At a time when many businesses are either struggling with technology or keen to adapt to today’s rapidly changing world, these two fantastic programmes being offered by the South East LEP should make a real and lasting impact. And they are completely free so make sure you sign up today!”
Tim Aker, development manager for the Kent and Medway FSB, added: “As government support tails off, this is an opportunity for SMEs to get some new funding.
“David is an engaging and passionate speaker and will cut through the jargon and explain how to access these vital grants.”
