Business Vision LIVE is celebrating its fifteenth birthday on Wednesday 11 May 2022. Having started as a simple B2B exhibition for Kent-based businesses, it has evolved to become the largest regional business event in the UK, offering a wealth of new insights, practical workshops and unsurpassed networking opportunities to companies from across the South East and beyond.
Organised in partnership with Kent County Council, the KM Media Group, Kent Invicta Chamber of Commerce, SELEP and more, this year, Business Vision LIVE is taking place at Kent Event Centre in Detling, Maidstone.
The 2022 programme is extra special and includes an opening keynote from the BBC’s Ben Thompson, who will be sharing his unique perspective on the short, medium and long-term prospects for British businesses and their ability to meet the challenges of widespread social and economic change.
More than 2,000 business professionals are expected to attend Business Vision LIVE. It is the perfect environment to source new suppliers, network with peers, participate in top-level discussions and hear from industry thought leaders on the key issues and opportunities impacting businesses today and tomorrow.
Just some of the sessions available this year include ‘Building a Business Everyone Wants to Work For’ with Nik Kennett, head of people at Reflect Digital; ‘Employment Law Update’, hosted by Jemma Fairclough Haynes, CEO of Orchard Employment Law; and ‘Diversity in the Workplace - A Transgender Man’s Personal Experience’ with Connor Styche, company director at The Digital Lookout.
Richard Pilton, managing director of Kayo Digital, will chair a discussion on ‘What are the Fastest Growing Companies Doing Online?’. Meanwhile, Jonathan Howes, managing director at SGS Energy and Andrew Stevens, decarbonisation adviser at Kent and Medway Growth Hub, will ask: ‘Alternative Energy Sources - What’s Viable?’
Before the main event, Business Vision LIVE visitors can join the Big Networking Breakfast, sponsored by Kent and Medway Growth Hub, AshfordFOR and Medway Council. Business leaders will offer insights into the practical reality of their business journeys and attendees can hear from the sponsors showcasing their key success stories and discussing how they have managed to overcome the challenges of the pandemic. Tickets cost £25+VAT and include a delicious cooked breakfast.
The 2022 event boasts a wealth of exciting new features, including a new exhibition layout, improved roundtable room facilities and fun freebies in the delegate bag, plus the chance to enter competitions on the exhibition stands and benefit from exclusive offers.
Everyone who attends Business Vision LIVE is automatically entered into the prize draw to win one of five amazing prizes up for grabs, kindly donated by exhibitors. These include an Xbox Series 5 from Select Technology; an overnight stay for two plus breakfast in your choice of a Hand Picked Hotel; a Cider Gift Box from Biddenden Vineyards; two tickets to any one day of the Kent County Show from the Kent Event Centre; and a professionally recorded business phone message from Martin Whiskin.
