Law firm Furley Page is offering undergraduates and graduates in Kent two exciting opportunities to take their first step into a career within the legal sector.
The first is a one-week placement this summer, spending one day in each of the firm’s participating teams.
The second is Furley Page’s highly respected two-year Trainee Solicitor Programme, starting in September 2019. Graduates can apply for both schemes at the same time.
According to the recently-published Kent Legal Sector Review 2017, Furley Page is ranked among the top four of Kent’s best-performing law firms, based on the latest results from independent national legal guides Chambers UK and The Legal 500.
There is a rigorous selection process for both schemes with applicants expected to demonstrate a strong academic record in their chosen discipline – not necessarily Law. Applications must be received by 14 April 2017 for the work placements and 14 July 2017 for the traineeships.
Furley Page partner, Neille Ryan, who is the firm’s training principal, says: “The summer work placements are a great opportunity for undergraduates and graduates looking to pursue a career in law to get a real insight into the workings of a large regional firm of solicitors.
“Our training contracts are highly sought after as we take great pride in providing excellent training and experience. We firmly believe our success lies in the quality of the staff we employ and that their training and development is key to our future growth.”
