The judges were pressed to shortlist them down, due to the high calibre of entries - but finally we reached this shortlist. The next job is to decide who the winners are which will be just as tough.”

The awards headline sponsor Naz Khaliq, managing partner of Dynamix Accountancy said: “We are really pleased to be sponsoring the Canterbury Business Awards. We have seen such a wide and varied number of businesses apply - all doing some amazing stuff. We look forward to now celebrating the winners on 22 March.”

The next phase of the awards will be for the judges to decide who wins each category and these will be announced at the awards dinner night of 22 March at the Spitfire Cricket Ground, Canterbury. On the night guests will enjoy a three course dinner, music, drinks and the awards ceremony. The ceremony will be hosted by Paul Andrews from Business Bunker on Channel Radio, who is also CEO of Jobsinkent & Fruitworks in Canterbury.

Marcus Chrysostomou for Equilibrium PR said: “We had a great response to our first ever Canterbury Business Awards. This shows that businesses really want to celebrate their success and we are pleased, here at Equilibrium PR and Best Business Events, that we were able to provide this opportunity. Winning and taking part in the awards will provide positive PR for the companies, a boost for staff morale and help gain more customers.

“We now look forward to the awards night for which tickets are going fast. For those who were not successful in becoming finalists, we hope they try again next year.”

The winners of the awards will receive a certificate, a beautiful engraved award, an email winner signature block and an awards logo for their website and will feature in any publicity. Finalists will also receive a certificate and logo to celebrate their success.
